Answer

Chemical pregnancy. I really have no words. Part of me is relieved and part of me is sad. Lets just pray my numbers get to zero fast so we can do IUI this month and not have to wait a cycle. I don't know if I should do clomid again. It worked but the headache and I mean it failed in the end. If I hadn't been pregnant at all I would have pushed for injectibles, should I still do that?

  1. Oh no, I'm so, so sorry! I was really hoping you'd hear good news. At least you guys know that you can get pregnant now, so that's a huge step in the right direction.

Have you thought about switching to Femara instead of clomid? You responded so well before that the stimulation might be really good for you. Plus the majority of ladies that had lots of side effects with clomid didn't have any on femara.

I am so sorry you are having to go through this. I love how positive you are and are ready to try again this cycle :) I just know you will have your sticky BFP soon!

  2. I'm so sorry- I've been there so many times. (*hugs*)

I think if Clomid worked it would be worth trying again, but you could also ask about Femara (it does tend to have less side effects) or injectables (although that would be a lot more expensive.)

  4. So sorry to hear the news. I'm praying for it to get back to 0 so you can do your next cycle. I was kinda surprised that my doc didn't change my protocol since this last time didn't work. After talking to him and other friends, it seems like 'practice makes perfect'.... I also heard that in the infertility world that you need to try everything three times.

    I don't know if that helps, but that's all I got :)

On to the next cycle we go....

  5. I'm so sorry!!!! Clomid was extremely brutal on me in terms of side effects and every single time I was on it I would end up with a chemical.. So for me if I were to be actively TTC again w/ Meds I would not be on clomid!! I'm really sorry!!!

  7. I am so incredibly sorry to see this. I have no advice because we were forced to go right to IVF after our failed natural IUI (DOR and MFI diagnosis.) I hope you can find a plan you feel comfortable with and it brings you success. I will be thinking of you *HUG*

  11. I'm very sorry to hear this is a CP. *hugs*

I responded badly (not really at all) to Clomid. In my opinion, if Clomid worked for you, I'd give it another go or two. It is cheaper, and less invasive/harsh on the body. I don't know anything about Femera.
Once you switch to injectibles, there really isn't any going back. Do what you can first before injectibles and then go from there. But really, it is up to you and your doctor to decide what you think is best.

    Good luck!

  13. Oh no! I'm so sorry for your loss. We didn't wait a month after our loss, but didn't conceive for 3m after. It may be best to wait one and then try the DIUI next. As for hte clomid, you can go with it again or like previous poster suggested, look into Femara/Letrozole. I didn't notice huge amounts of side effects on it.

It does suck to say, but there is a kernel of truth and comfort know that you can get pregnant and if it worked once, it can work again.

Huge internet hugs. Let me know if you need/want to talk.
